Connectors enable trusted data to flow from all API driven data source systems needed by a plethora of customers. Connector Engine, which is the ecosystem for developing more connectors, is gaining more speed thanks to excellent partners who want to help others to succeed. Holda Technologies released Go library which helps all Go language connector developers. This is the first Platform of Trust related code library!
Connector Engine is a mini-community specialized in certain spots of the Platform of Trust architecture and data product value chain. Connector Engine is a partner network which develops necessary connector components to connect any data source systems to Platform of Trust. Data source system is, for example, Wapice IoT Ticket, Nuuka Solutions, Siemens Mindsphere, Fidelix Cloud, Visma Fivaldi, Schneider Ecostruxure, etc. to mention a few. Connector Engine is open network and any company can join it. The spirit in the community is focused on sharing and building solutions together.
Connector Engine has been operational for a couple of months now and has generated over a dozen reusable connectors for Platform of Trust customers. The engine is gaining more speed which means that more and more integrations are available off the shelve for Platform of Trust customers. Even if the needed data source system is not integrated yet, it can be done in a couple of weeks thanks to our partners, like Holda Technologies Oy.
One practical sign of the cooperation driven spirit was the launch of the first Connector Engine library called “gopot” (in Github).
If someone is creating connectors with Go, we have created a little helper library and will be maintaining and extending it when needed.

From the Platform of Trust point of view, this was a huge thing even if the library is not huge in LoC (lines of code).
One of the partners releasing a library related to our platform is so strong statement and message! I could not dream of anything better.
